The Most-Discerning League of Distinguished Literary Gentlemen

ANNOUNCING the formation of the Most Discerning Leagure of Distinguished Literary Gentlemen (herein referred to as MDLDLG).

It's basically a book club with an awesome name. Christopher Mellinger and I, Moses Norton, are its sole members. We decided we would casually read a book together and then post a review on this blog. The formation of the MDLDLG came about from a conversation Chris and I had on the lamentable lacklustre of literature as we know it in our modern day. I personally believe, and we agreed, that the value of art is in meaning. As far as this meaing is concerned, it is the main thrust and the value of literary work. Our League will examine the meaning of the author and reflect upon it.

Our first book is Dune by Frank Herbert. Review pending.
