   PLEASE join me in welcoming the first successful Initiate of the Most-Discerning League of Distiniguished Literary Gentlemen. I hereupon grant you the title of official member first class of the Most-Discerning League of Distinguished Literary Gentlemen, as well as the coveted title of Minister Eckmann.

   The League recognizes at this time that the Minister has promptly procured a specific copy of a specific book, as the League rules of initiation so demand, after showing interest in joining the ranks of the League. Said book is a 1975 copy of Watership Down by Richard Adams, which is next on the League agenda.
